Got a build running 4 weeks or more? We offer materially better rates than national hire firms, with one flat monthly figure and no hidden extras.

Why long-term fence hire saves real money
Most construction sites hire fence panels at the standard weekly rate, then leave them on site for 12, 16, 20 weeks. By the time the build’s done, the cumulative weekly bill has overshot what a sensible monthly contract would have cost by 25-40%.
If your site is going to need a perimeter for more than 4 weeks, don’t pay the weekly rate. Call us and we’ll quote a flat monthly figure that covers the panels, the standard delivery, the standard collection, and the install — for the whole hire period. You know what you’re paying. No surprise quarterly invoices, no fuel surcharges, no panel-count-creep.
What “long-term” means here
- 4-12 weeks: discounted weekly rate, billed monthly
- 3-6 months: flat monthly rate, billed monthly in advance or on agreed payment terms
- 6+ months: flat monthly rate with annual review clause; rate locked for the contract period
- Multi-phase builds: rolling agreement, panels stay on site through phases, single hire / single invoice
We’re flexible. Tell us how long the build’s running and we’ll structure it the way that works for your procurement team.
What’s included in a long-term hire
- Panels for the agreed hire period — at a flat monthly rate
- Standard delivery to site at the start
- Standard collection from site at the end
- Mid-hire panel adjustments — add or reduce panel count at one phone call’s notice, no admin fee for first adjustment per month
- Panel replacement — broken or damaged panels swapped on-call at standard delivery rate
- Account management — one phone number, one named contact, no rotation through call-centre agents
- 30-day BACS terms — standard for trade accounts after first hire
What’s extra (and we’ll always tell you upfront)
- Anti-lift clamps — £0.50/panel/week extra if site is high-risk
- Gate panels — from £4/panel/week
- Emergency / out-of-hours panel delivery — £85 call-out rate
- Damaged/missing panels at collection — charged at cost, held against deposit
- Site moves — if you need to relocate panels to a new postcode mid-hire, flat relocation fee
Comparison: weekly vs monthly long-term
For a typical 50-panel site running 12 weeks:
| Option | Weekly rate | 12-week total |
|---|---|---|
| Standard weekly at £1.50/panel | £75/week | £900 + delivery |
| Long-term contract (flat monthly) | ~£260/month | ~£780 + delivery |
Saves you ~£120 over the hire — and that gap widens fast on longer / larger contracts. For a 200-panel site running 6 months, the saving runs to thousands.
We’ll give you the actual number for your specific job on the call.
Who uses long-term fence hire
- Main contractors on multi-phase builds (new build housing, commercial, civils)
- Demolition contractors on staged demolitions
- Groundworks contractors on extended civils projects
- Developers on plot-by-plot residential developments
- Civil engineering firms on infrastructure / road / utility projects
- Local authorities on extended public works projects
- Property owners with ongoing renovation programmes
If your project will run more than 4 weeks, this is for you. Anything shorter, standard weekly hire is fine — call us either way.
How long-term hire works
- Call with the site details: postcode, panel count, project duration, start date, any special requirements (gate panels, anti-lift, install).
- Site visit if useful — for sites over 200 panels or unusually complex layouts, we’ll visit before quoting.
- Written quote by email within 30 minutes — flat monthly rate, all-in, terms clearly stated.
- Hire agreement — simple one-page document covering rate, period, panel count, deposit, payment terms. Procurement-friendly.
- Delivery and install — on agreed start date.
- Monthly invoicing — 30-day BACS or as agreed with your accounts team.
- Mid-hire adjustments — call us, panels added or reduced within 24-48 hours.
- Collection on completion — call us when site is winding down, we book within 48 hours.
Trade-account benefits
- 30-day BACS invoicing — no upfront payment, no per-job admin
- Named account contact — speak to the same person every time
- Photo evidence on delivery and collection — for your project records
- Insurance certificate on file — pulled instantly when procurement asks
- Recall priority — when stock is tight, account customers get first call
- Annual rate review — for ongoing relationships, we revisit pricing each year (usually held flat or reduced if volume justifies)
Common long-term contract questions
What if the project runs longer than expected? Call us — we extend at the agreed monthly rate, no overrun penalty. We’d rather you extend with us than scramble for someone else’s panels.
What if the project finishes early? Call us — we collect, refund the deposit, and bill only the months actually used. No early-termination fee.
Can we add panels mid-contract? Yes — call us, panels added within 24-48 hours, billed pro-rata at the agreed monthly rate.
Can we move panels to a different site mid-contract? Yes — flat relocation fee covers van + crew time. Quoted on the call.
Do you handle CHAS / SSIP / Constructionline-vetted work? We’re working toward registration on these schemes. For clients who require approved-supplier status now, call us and we’ll discuss specific vetting requirements and any interim arrangements.
What’s the deposit on a long-term hire? Standard £25/panel deposit applies. For very large hires (200+ panels), we can sometimes agree a reduced deposit against a trading history.
Do you provide site signage or branded panels? We don’t supply signage. Most contractors print their own warning signage and zip-tie it to the panels. Happy to recommend local sign printers if needed.
Can the rate be guaranteed for a multi-year framework agreement? Yes — for clients on framework agreements (council, multi-build developer programmes), we’ll lock rates for the agreement period with an annual review clause.
