Make-safe fencing for housing associations, factors and property managers
When a survey, a storm or a phone call from a tenant turns up a hazard, the area has to be closed off straight away, long before the permanent repair can be surveyed, tendered and scaffolded. National hire firms deliver in a day or two and leave the panels at the kerb. We are local, we come out the same day and we install it.
You call or message us with the address and, if you have them, photos. We give you a price before we set off. Once the fence is up we send you photos, and it stays there on one small weekly invoice until you tell us to take it down.
What we do on the day
- Arrive fast — within 24 hours as standard, or in about 4 hours and out of hours on our urgent service, subject to availability
- Assess the site if nobody is there — we work out what needs protected, how many panels it takes and where the walkway goes
- Install the fence — panels, feet and clips, freestanding, nothing fixed to your building
- Keep access open — a safe walkway to close doors and entrances, wide enough for prams and wheelchairs where the site allows
- Send you photos — the same day, so you have a record of what was made safe and when

Prices
Priced per site, not per panel. The first week covers the call-out, delivery, installation, collection and hire. We are not VAT registered, so there is nothing to add.

Optional extras
- Safety inspection visits, £25 a visit — we check the fence is secure and send you a dated photo each time, weekly, fortnightly or monthly. It gives you a record that the hazard was being looked after
- Extra ballast, £5 per block per week — 50 kg blocks placed over the fence feet for exposed or windy spots, usually one block for every 2 or 3 panels
- Site assessment, £30 to £50 per site — only charged on planned work where you ask us to go and assess a site ourselves and recommend the layout. If you meet us on site or tell us what is needed, there is no fee
How billing works
- Emergency call-outs are invoiced after the job. You do not pay before we come out
- The hire is continuous and billed weekly until you tell us by email or WhatsApp to take the fence down. Collection is included
- Housing associations, councils and account customers are invoiced on 14-day terms. We can add your PO number and complete your supplier form
- If a panel blows over, we fix it free within 24 hours

How fast can you get here? Emergency make-safe is on site within 24 hours and usually the same day. The urgent service aims for about 4 hours, including evenings and weekends, subject to availability.
Nobody from our team can be on site. Is that a problem? No. Send the address and any photos, and we assess it when we arrive and fence off what needs protected.
How long can the fence stay? As long as you need it. It runs week to week with no minimum beyond the first week and no end date to agree in advance.
