Temporary fencing for events of every size
We hire crowd-control and perimeter fencing for events across Glasgow and the central belt — from a 6-panel cordon round a school fair to a 200-panel festival perimeter. Same anti-climb mesh panels we use on construction sites, just deployed differently: defining venue boundaries, controlling vehicle and pedestrian flow, securing stages and back-of-house areas, separating ticketed zones, keeping crowds clear of hazards.

Common event setups
Festivals and outdoor music events
Full venue perimeter, back-of-house separation, stage exclusion zones, VIP / ticketed area divisions. Delivery the day before, installation completed before gates open, collection the day after.
Markets, fairs, and community events
Pedestrian and vehicle separation, market boundary, parking control. Typically 20-50 panels. Saturday-morning delivery often available if booked early in the week.
Sporting events and tournaments
Pitch-side perimeters, crowd-control runs, ticket queue routing. We can deliver panels with bracing struts for windier exposed pitches.
Public realm events (council-run)
Road closures, pedestrian re-routing, infrastructure exclusion. We work with Glasgow City Council, Renfrewshire Council, and South Lanarkshire Council events teams — call us if you’re on a procurement framework or need supplier-list registration.
Weddings and private events
Driveway closures, marquee perimeters, parking control on private land, hot-tub installation security. Smaller hire (5-30 panels) — pay-on-delivery, no trade-account faff.
Car shows, classic-vehicle gatherings, motorbike events
Venue perimeter, ticket-zone separation, vehicle queuing lanes. Heavy-duty anti-lift clamps available for higher-value attendees.
Building site open days, show-home launches

- Weekend event: 1-week hire is the minimum — covers delivery Friday, event Saturday, collection Monday

- Longer-running fair / market: weekly or monthly, materially better rates over 2+ weeks

How event hire works
- Call, text or WhatsApp [PHONE] with: event date, postcode/site, panel count (or rough perimeter length — see how many panels →), and whether you need gates / struts.
- Quote on the call — flat rate, all-in. Email confirmation for your event paperwork.
- Delivery booked — usually day before the event (e.g. Friday for a Saturday event). Earlier delivery available on request.
- Install — if included or booked, done before the event starts.
- Event runs.
- Collection booked — day after the event, or whenever fits your venue derig schedule.
- Deposit refunded — within 48 hours of collection.
Common event-organiser questions
How far in advance do I need to book? For Saturday events, calling by Wednesday usually secures Friday delivery. For larger festivals (100+ panels), book 2-3 weeks ahead so we can plan the install crew and stock allocation. For last-minute panels (e.g. unexpected crowd, weather damage), call us — we’ll do what we can.
Can you handle a 200+ panel festival? Yes — we run multiple vans on larger jobs and can stagger install over the day before the event. For very large events (500+ panels), tell us as early as possible — we’ll plan capacity and may bring in a partner firm to supplement.
Do you provide bracing for windy sites? Yes — bracing struts available at £1/panel/week extra. Recommended for any exposed outdoor venue, beach-front events, or hilltop sites. For unusually wind-prone events we can also recommend ballast options.
Do you provide signage / health-and-safety wraps? We don’t supply signage ourselves — most event organisers source branded mesh wraps separately or use the perimeter clean. Happy to recommend local printers if you want event-branded mesh sheeting.
Are panels suitable for crowd-control queuing? Yes — standard heras panels are widely used for festival and event queuing. For very dense crowd-control (concerts, sports arenas) some events use specialised crowd barriers in addition to mesh perimeter; happy to advise.
Do you work with Glasgow City Council / other councils? Yes — we’re set up as a local supplier for council events teams. Call to discuss specific procurement requirements.
Can you do urgent emergency delivery if panels are damaged or stolen mid-event? Yes — emergency call-out available at £85 + standard delivery. Call us, we’ll be on site within hours if at all possible.
Are you insured? Public liability insurance, certificate available on request. Most venues and council events teams require this from suppliers.
